Job Title: CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER Company: Principal Financial Group Location: Des Moines, IA 50301 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Be a part of a SUCCESS STORY!  Looking to write a new chapter in your career?  Join our Client Service Manager Team and become a Best Seller!Do you have what it takes to get your career published?  Do you have the ability to build strong working relationships with Retirement Plan clients?  Principal Financial Group, a FORTUNE 500 Company, is looking for a top-talented Client Service Manager to join our Retirement and Investor Services Division.  Career Summary: Establish and maintain effective relationships with Retirement Plan clients to ensure growth in retirement savings and profitability for all stakeholders.  Partner with Retirement Plan Service Representatives and Marketers to enhance relationships between clients and the Company.  Conduct meetings with Clients, Retirement Plan Service Representatives, Marketers, CPA’s and Attorneys.  Market Company products and services.  Build, retain and deepen client relationship and assets.  Design and execute client specific marketing plans.  Manage retirement plan service (e.g. reports, compliance, benefit payments, etc.) for assigned clients.Requirements:Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 4-6 years related pension experience.  Requires strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, basic math, organizational, reading, comprehension, interpretation, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills.  Requires extensive knowledge and understanding of plan and contract documents, manuals, procedures and Company products and services.  Requires advanced business unit knowledge and technical skills, including knowledge of all products, regulations and laws.  Must have the ability to balance working independently as well as working in a Team environment.  Must be able to coordinate a large volume of customer activities.  Series 7 registration required within 12 months.  Some overnight travel may be required. Building a strong career and financial future is not only a fairy tale at Principal Financial Group, it is a reality.At the Principal Financial Group, we offer a competitive total compensation package and a comprehensive benefits package to meet each of your needs.
