Business/Strategic Management Job Type Full Time, Employee Business Technology Advisor Description Description:Job Summary and Mission:As the Business Technology Advisor, you drive the Firms Wealth Management process and other initiatives by consulting with Financial Advisors (FAs) and other branch personnel to help them effectively integrate technology into their business, thereby increasing productivity and asset growth, and improving client service.Key Responsibilities:- Position technology as a sales driver in all communications and interactions; act as spokespeople for the platform- Analyze individual FAs business plans to identify appropriate tools and resources - Partner with FAs and Branch Managers to determine a process for implementing these tools into the business- Collaborate with Divisional/Regional Sales and Product teams to drive specific focuses and goals, and support the ongoing cultural changes of the firm and the business overall- Integral to the recruiting process; partner with Branch Managers to present UBS technology to FA recruits by illustrating its potential impact on their specific business- Introduce new concepts/technology and their link to the Firms Wealth Management process- Act as liaison between field personnel and home office business and systems development to represent the "voice" of the user; enhancements and changes made based on their feedback- Conduct client presentations and seminars to showcase the benefits of the Firms technology capabilities - Establish regular contact with Branch Managers and the Branch Management team, FAs, Client Service Advisors (CSAs), as well as multiple product and sales people.- Authority/Responsibility- Works autonomously as well as in a team environment - Oversee activities and development of branch personnel in use of critical applications; approximately 6-13 branches - Manage and communicate branch visit scheduleQualifications:- Five years relevant financial industry experience- Bachelor's Degree- Series 7 and 66 licenses must be obtained within six months of hire- Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills- Ability to interpret complex sales concepts/questions and provide appropriate solutions- Product and technical knowledge- Extensive travel- Knowledge of branch systems/processes preferredSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe can offer you an exciting, fast-paced working environment, a culture of mutual respect and commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and the opportunity to play a vital role in our growth.Job Location: White Plains, NYJob Number: RUSAUBS214-609707Company URL: http://www.ubs.com/Company Profile:UBS is a leading global financial services firm.
