Business Systems Associate

Firm BackgroundOur firm is an independent multi-family office providing wealth management and financial planning services to high net worth individuals. We are a firm of approximately 25 employees, including five principals. Our two offices in New York and California are located in major wealth centers enabling us to reach our existing client relationships and build new relationships over time. The Associate will be joining an expanding firm in the early stages of growth.

 Job DescriptionWe are looking for a full-time Associate to join our New York team.This position will work closely with the Director of Technology and focus specifically on Advent Axys and Moxy applications. Prior experience using Advent products and scripting languages is required. CWA currently employs an outside data reconciliation provider. However,our firm is seeking an in-house point person to control data integrity,maintain operational procedures for data management, and create financial reports. Opportunity exists to expand data management responsibility to other areas (e.g. CRM). Samples of responsibilities include:•New account procedures – maintain accurate cost basis when necessary•Monitor daily price updates•QA monthly performance•Ability to write scripts and macros and generate extracts of Axys data•Report Writer Pro experience•Moxy trading processes•Validate reconciled data files on a daily basis as well as maintain referential data used by Moxy and Advent applications•Interact with data reconciliation vendor to resolve problems•Develop and maintain daily operational procedures•Automate existing manual processes•Document operational procedures and develop user reference guides•Supervise workflow between Moxy and Axys applications•Identify and populate missing prices•Generate statements and ad-hoc reports using Advent Axys and Report Writer Pro programsRequirements• Advent Software Experience REQUIRED• Experience creating program scripts using MS-Windows tools• Bachelor’s degree• Strong problem-solving capabilities• Keen interest in capital markets• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written• Exceptional MS Office skills• Business and accounting experience/coursework (preferred
