Primary Function

· As a Business Reporting Analyst you will develop and implement reporting tools designed to measure and track project and business process efficiency and effectiveness, establish unit cost baselines and perform ongoing analysis of costs and productivity.  Tools and reports will be used to support decisions that contribute to the growth of profitable business, and provide executive leadership periodic reports and dashboards that provide ongoing snapshots and analysis of the business at a corporate and client level. 

· The management reporting function focuses on the key metrics of the System Development Life Cycle, including call center metrics, sales activity, unit cost, service level metrics, project profitability and carrier oriented metrics. In this role you will be expected to work with the business to understand their data and reporting needs to create reports and perform analysis to help guide business decisions.

 

 

 

Minimum Education & Experience

· Bachelors degree in a business related subject area such as accounting, finance, or economics

 

 

Expertise

· Strong MS Excel and Intermediate MS Access skills.

· Demonstrated experience with reporting tools, such as Business Objects, Cognos, and/or Crystal Reports or other reporting software a plus

· Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

· Demonstrated understanding of financial analysis and accounting conventions used for reporting

· Ability to efficiently gather data from various sources for reporting and analysis.

· Proven ability to effectively utilize data and systems tools available.

· Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

· Demonstrated reporting experience. 

· Proven ability to collaborate to produce results.

· Experience in VBA and SQL a plus.

· Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply standard policies, procedures and other established guidelines
