The company is independently owned and committed to remaining independent.DescriptionRecent and extensive internally driven market research has demonstrated tremendous upside potential in the Business Banking segment within our marketplace. Specifically, we define this segment as commercial entities with up to $2.5MM in annual revenues and credit needs up to $250M. This position is responsible for prospecting and developing new business relationships in a specific territory targeting these businesses. The objective is to grow core deposits and loans, identify cross-sell opportunities, and to achieve sales objectives. He/she will, with the support of the Marketing Department, establish effective calling programs and acquire sales leads followed by in person appointments. The successful candidate will also familiarize him/herself with all other appropriate bank products and services, develop tailored presentations, and participate in appropriate social and community organizations outside the bank. Job requirements include strong interpersonal skills; five years sales experience selling bank products and services; a record of success in sales and goal achievement; strong written, verbal and presentation skills; and the ability to interact effectively with other bank personnel across functional lines.
