Business Analyst - Transaction Products Description Description:Job Summary and Mission:As a Business Analyst for Transaction Products, you are the owner of all project management components related to the support of the firm's Order Entry platform. The analyst will lead a team of innovative, professional and highly dynamic business analysts, IT, and QA analysts to implement small to large-scale business-related and technical initiatives.This job will require experience as a project manager with proven analytical abilities, strong written skills and the ability to motivate and lead teams. A background in Equity and Equity related securities or all Fixed Income securities including Taxable Fixed Income, Municipals, and Structured Investments is desired. Key Responsibilities:- Partner with Transaction Products to execute on technology initiatives in support of the business strategy.- Maintain a structured approach by leveraging best practices in project management across business and technology areas.- Manage product functional enhancements for Transactional Products through requirement gathering, writing of business/functional specifications, process/end-user validation. - Matrix manage across the organization to execute projects through all phases of the application development process including Analysis, Scoping, Design, Development, Quality Assurance Testing, and Implementation.- Facilitate user acceptance testing and production implementation in conjunction with the business users, IT and vendors.- Assist in establishing ongoing service excellence through application development and process improvements.- Perform liaison functions for Systems Development on various internal applications including Books and Records, Clearance and Settlement, Statements, Confirms, Stock Record, Glossary, Pricing, Client Accounts and the integrated Broker Workstation ConsultWorks.Qualifications:- BA/BS- Experience in brokerage / securities 3-5+ years- MS Word and Excel.
