Bus Unit Financial Analyst V

Responsible for planning, reporting, analyzing, forecasting, and facilitating the recovery of technology-based budgets. The Financial Analyst collects and analyzes planned and actual information to communicate trends and unusual transactions. This requires comprehensive working knowledge of various office software products (MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills with attention to detail and an understanding of information technology, as well as workload management skills and the ability to get engaged in complex assignments and meet tight deadlines. Normal work hours consist of Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm though some after hours work is required. A four year college degree with a major in either business or computer science is required in addition to five years of practical experience.QualificationsA proven professional with at least 5 years experience in planning and administering technology-based budgets, and communicating cost recovery strategies.Comprehensive knowledge of managerial and cost accounting methods and practices across all phases, including: budget planning; reporting and forecasting; cost recovery. Proven strong relational database development skills.Demonstrated workload management skills with ability to get engaged in multiple complex assignments and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written, listening, facilitation, negotiation, peer relationships, interpersonal savvy, team player).
