Position Description:

Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of client billing, reporting, revenue recognition, documented through management reporting, in accordance with client service level agreements. Supervise a staff of 5 billing associates.Development and implementation of internal controls and procedures. Maintain procedure documentation. Ensure proper staffing levels are in place to support ongoing business. Coordinate training activities for associates based on core competency levels. Ensure staff is properly cross-trained and adequate coverage exists at all times. Motivate and provide development opportunities to associates.Possess strong system knowledge in order to actively engage in automation projects, staff training and problem resolution. Partner with business lines on rollout of new products and services. Attend and participate in strategy meetings. Communicate with clients on an as needed basis regarding billing inquiries. Establish and publish metrics to measure timeliness and accuracy of billing. Back-up to manager when needed. Perform various other tasks as directed by management.Staff supervision including but not limited to hiring, corrective action, performance appraisals, review and approval of timesheet submission, etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics. MBA a plus.Strong in MS Excel, Access, and Word. Proficiency in Mainframe system a plus. Excellent communication skills. Experience leading and managing staff of varying skill sets. Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
