Position Summary:

 

The Collection Representative plays a significant role through initial and frequent contact with borrowers. In this position you will be responsible for contacting borrowers, advising them of their loan contract responsibilities and persuading them to bring their delinquent accounts current through payment negotiations. Duties include timely and effective collection of delinquent accounts; skip tracing, resolving customer disputes, collateral disposal and scheduling repossessions. This position will work closely with all team members to achieve the company’s monthly goals.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Initiate effective outbound calls and receive inbound calls.Produce and arrange collection solutions for customers.Keep all loans in your portfolio up to date.Take customer payments over the phone.Maintain daily goal set for assigned portfolio.Be responsible for ensuring confidentiality of all aspects of the company’s operations, portfolio, customer information, and computer technology.Skip tracing of hard to find clients.

 

Requirements:

 Bilingual English/Spanish. Minimum of 2 - 5 years work experience in the automotive finance industry.Excellent communication, negotiation and writing skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.Problem solving skills.Basic computer skills (MS Office, Windows XP).Must be able to interact with others in a professional maner and be a team player.
