Benefits Manager

The Role:

 

Manages the development and administration of all US benefitsstrategies, programs, processes and activities.  Ensure the high quality, cost containment and high accuracy of systems, policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Benefits

 Design, implement, manage and evaluate competitive and cost effective benefits programs that support the Company’s business strategies and values and that attract and retain employees Oversee the administration of all US employee benefit programs (Health & Welfare, Savings & Retirement, Work/Life, Executive). Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment – plan design, contribution model, coordination with Ceridian payroll and benefits administration, and employee communications.Manage relationships with consultants, carriers, and service providers. Ensure compliance of benefit programs including preparation and distribution of benefit plan documents and coordination with carriers to complete necessary testing and filings. Oversee the day-to-day employee and plan issue resolution Ensure timely and effective new hire benefits orientation for all US hires. Perform as Secretary of the Investment Committee of the Omgeo Employee and Executive Savings Plans.Liaison, to the degree needed, to TR regarding the administration of benefits for our EMEA and APAC employees.Ensure that all procedures/processes are created/maintained for this area.Ensure the timely and accurate payment of all invoices related to your area of responsibility.

 

Payroll

 Coordinate with Payroll/HRIS to ensure all necessary benefits information is contained in the system, and is accurate.

 

HRIS

 Coordinate with Payroll/HRIS to ensure the development/maintenance of reporting needed in connection with the US benefits programs.

 

Programs

 Serve as primary responder for all internal and external audits relating to areas of responsibility. Ensure compliance with all state, federal or country laws related to your areas of responsibility.Counsel HRSP team and managers regarding interpretation and administration of Company policies to assure conformance of such policiesServe on the internal BCP Pandemic Planning task force, and other projects as required.

 

Qualifications:

 

Functional Skills/Knowledge

 Expertise in Benefits design & administration, HR Compliance & HR policies & programsAbility to perform cost and performance analysis.Proven track record of providing outstanding client serviceExcellent verbal & written communication skills PC proficient with Word/Excel/PowerPointPayroll proficiency a plus – Ceridian specifically.Teamwork & collaboration Communication (written & verbal; informal & formal)Client focus (internal clients) Functional (HR) knowledgeProject management, multi-tasking Problem solving, strong follow thru



Technical skills

 Strong analytical skills, attention to detail & project management capabilities. Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work.Requires a self-directed individual who is results focused and exhibits initiative.High degree of professionalism & strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively collaborate & communicate with all levels of employees & managementStrong judgment & discretion skills; ability to maintain high confidentiality.
