Benefits Administrator - Insurance

Benefits Administrator - for a General Agency located in Hawthorne, NY, about 30 + miles north of NYC in Westchester County and located directly behind the Metro North train station.  Job description - The BA will provide servicing for brokers and clients for a valued book of business.  BA's assist the employee benefit specialists throughout the entire sales process, including quoting the insurance package, creating sales presentations, preparing applications for carriers and assisting with employee enrollments.  Job skills include strong customer service skills and courteous telephone manner, proficient with all MS Office products, ability to learn to use custom databases and internet services.  Must pay attention to detail, prioritize, be organized and demonstrate a willingness to take ownership and follow-through.  Experience with an Insurance carrier in a customer service capacity is a big plus or medical office experience will be considered.  We need someone who can hit the ground running.
