Associate Financial Planner / Accountant

Highly regarded money management firm in Boston is looking for an Associate Financial Planner / Accountant. The Accountant will work closely with two department managers and liaise between other departments. The Associate Financial Planner will prepare and maintain balance sheets and well as put together financial projections, financial presentations and insurance presentations for clients. Will communicate with outside accountants during tax season as well as on a quarterly basis to keep tax records current. The Associate Financial Planner will assist with insurance reviews, speak with outside advisors and maintain current records. Will also conduct research on various projects and spearhead global projects which impact clients and department infrastructure.

 

Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with a background in accounting, finance or financial planning. CFP or CPA/PFS preferred. Must have strong analytical skills as well as excellent writing and communication abilities. Advanced Excel skills required. Candidates must be highly organized with the ability to multitask and spearhead projects. Salary will be $40-50K plus bonus.
