Location: Tampa, FL 33601Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Our client has retained us to conduct a search for an Assistant Corporate Controller.  They are one of the top manufacturers in their industry with more than 11,000 employees operating at over 90 facilities.  This opportunity will be located in Tampa FL, the site of their US Headquarters. The Assistant Corporate Controller will report directly to the Controller along with the Financial Accounting Systems Manager, Financial Reporting Manager, and Tax Director.  Responsible for managing the Company’s accounting function and corporate accounting staff to insure reporting of financial, statistical and management information relating to business activities in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and SEC regulations. Extensive interface with financial systems implementation and integration. Specific Responsibilities:·  Supervise the preparation of the Company’s financial, statistical and management reports, from the Lawson G/L System, in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies, GAAP and SEC regulations·  Supervise the corporate accounting staff in their performance of routine accounting tasks.·  Manage the monthly closing of the Company’s financial systems.·  Provide software systems support·  Account reconciliation and analysis.·  Acquisition integration.·  Business system upgrades and implementations  Ideal Requirements:·  Undergraduate degree in Accounting required·  CPA or advanced degree preferred·  10+ years of experience with progressive accounting responsibilities in a multi-divisional manufacturing organization preferably in a corporate environment.·  Financials systems implementation & integration experience ideal·  Proven experience in managing accounting functions; excellent communication skills; proficient in personal computer software and accounting systems.   About Hudson Hudson delivers specialized professional recruitment, contract staffing, outsourced and project solutions worldwide.
