 The Ideal Candidates will possess the following:The ability to collaborate with Business Analysts, internal Account Executives, Copywriters and Graphic Designers to help formulate marketing strategy Use Mac based prepress programs to create preliminary layouts of external marketing materials for eventual productionLead conceptually within their assigned business group, and in collaboration with the Copywriter and Graphic Designer, create/direct all new marketing efforts in all applicable channels that persuasively communicate marketing objectives to the end consumerCreate concepts with visuals and copy as well as generate headlines and edit copyMentor, direct and supervise the work of Graphic Designers, outside creative vendors, act as the liaison to outside agencies and production services, and monitor the progress of their projects to ensure that the creative intent is not diluted or changedPartner with the Brand Associate in interfacing directly with the Marketing and Analysis teamBe self -organized and manage multiple deadlines on numerous, concurrent projectsHave strong presentation skills, being able to communicate both tactically as well as strategicallyHave expert knowledge both of the audience and category of their specific lines of business

Experience: 4-year degree specializing in graphic design or similar disciplineMinimum of 8 years design and art direction experience4+ years direct mail highly preferred
Portfolio: Mid to High-budget print projects and campaigns involving supervising other designers

Technical Knowledge: Quark - 5+Illustrator - 3+Photoshop - 3+Acrobat - 3+
