Summary of ResponsibilitiesScans issued Western & Southern Life application files into imaging system. Applies correct indexing schema to each form by indicating the correct account number, policyholder name, and document classification. Tracks incoming mail from district offices. Directs incoming mail to proper workflow processing.Position Requirements:Position Responsibilities•Retrieves Western & Southern Life application files in terminal digit order by viewing the policy number from right to left•Assigns correct naming schema by scanning documents into 13 main categories to allow for quick retrieval by internal business units•Scans incoming requests from business units within designated timeframe•Sorts incoming district mail that includes loan/dividend disbursement requests and policy changes•Tracks incoming district mail and forwards for additional processing within designated timeframes •Provides excellent customer service to internal customers; to include pulling rush application files or rescanning images per the business unit’s request •Maintains or exceeds production and quality targets•Performs file maintenance on application files •Develops and presents structured job-specific training as management directs.•Performs other job duties as assigned by management Selection Criteria •Proven experience handling multiple duties and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.•Demonstrated strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.•Demonstrated experience working independently. Experience must include identifying and resolving problems where independent decision-making and initiative were demonstrated.•Demonstrated experience working effectively within a team•Proven flexibility when faced with changes in work procedures, this includes providing examples of grasping and initiating new concepts.•Must provide examples of consistently meeting productivity and quality goals.• Possess and display excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner.•Must provide examples of handling difficult situations effectively while maintaining high volumes of work. Educational Requirements •High School Diploma.
