Application Programmer Analyst III

We have an opportunity for An Applications/Programmer at our Washington Headquarters. The positions's objective is: Perform analysis and design, develop and maintain software applications that support ICMA-RC's business processes. Rely on experience in addition to instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete assigned functions and tasks. Implement application integration concepts. Participate in all aspects of the development life cycle.Essential Functions include: ' Provide maintenance and problem resolution for production systems. Provide support on a 24 x 7 basis.' Experience in Development and Maintenance of Disbursement Processing systems' May be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis for maintenance or routine enhancements.' Develop new applications/program designs and application enhancements in accordance with RC's SDLC process and standards, with emphasis on implementing application integration practices.' Prepare program specs, system flows, test plans.' Plan, prioritize and schedule concurrent projects.' Communicate to management the status of development and maintenance assignments.' Assist in the development and assessment of project estimates.' Develop system and program documentation.' Degree or equivalent related experience.' 5 to 7 years related experience of application analysis, design and development in client/server environment and/or web development.'
