JOB DESCRIPTION:  Relationship Associate position is a client-facing role that will be primary responsible for new and existing client relationships to ensure a successful interaction with the engagement partners and the sales team and maintain and grow revenue.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:  gathering necessary client information, monitoring the clients’ need for ongoing services, tracking clients’ industry, and effectively communicating SVBA services.  Will also need to work with operational team to maintain seamless information flow for internal needs (i.e. accounting, management reports, etc.). This position will be part of a Client Relations team that could expand into covering both sides of SVBA’s business (i.e. Valuations and eProsper). SVB Analytics is a recently formed subsidiary of SVB Financial Group that provides high quality analytical solutions to address valuation and accounting problems unique to private emerging growth technology and life science companies.



SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

BA minimum. Prior experience in a client relations or sales position is preferred.  Flexibility and willingness to commit to help the team and the client even in a variety of circumstances.  Must have critical-thinking skills, be a strong and pro-active problem solver, and innovator.  Ability to learn new systems and processes as well as make them more efficient is essential.

EXCELLENT written and verbal communications skills and high level of professionalism is required.

Expert with word, excel, acrobat and salesforce.com is a plus.
