Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. The position will be responsible for: Coordinating all aspects of the online learning system. Communicating new programs including changes to agency tools, agency staff certifications and binding authority renewal requirements. Monitoring successful completion of agency and staff education programs and developing strategies to increase and maintain participation. Delivering education to new and incumbent agents and new and incumbent staff. Developing regional rotation programs for sales leader trainees. Coordinating agency management education sessions for agency principals. Facilitating web conference education sessions. Managing coordination of web conference development and delivery by interdepartmental subject matter experts. Overseeing roll out of agency staff tracking system enhancements and revisions. Effectively manage travel expenses, completing all monthly reports on time. Check voice mail every day, checking and responding to e-mail in a timely manner and other administrative duties. Must obtain a Property & Casualty license within 120 days of being appointed to the position. Required Skills (skills individual must bring to the job and skill levels required:Skill level definitions:- Beginner (has general understanding/knowledge)- Intermediate (has good working knowledge/understanding)- Advanced (is considered an expert) The skills required are: Creativity - Intermediate Must be articulate and utilize proper grammar in daily conversations and development of written materials. Convey pride in work. Maintain professional appearance - Intermediate. Presentation skills in facilitating classes and leading dicusssions for both small and very large groups - Advanced. Ability to assimilate new information quickly. Demonstrate initiative to enhance knowledge and skill levels. Does not need to be monitored closely - Advanced. Ability to work effectively against deadlines and break down complex projects into manageable steps - Advanced.Experience required: Experience in presenting materials to diverse groups - 3 years Experience with composing and managing large volumes of e-mail - 3 years Experience in development of educational materials - 3 years Demonstrated ability in multi-tasking - 3 years Ability to demonstrate multiple tasks at hand - 3 years Flexible when priorities and projects suddenly change - 3 years Initiative to persevere in pursuit of critical information and in seeing projects through to completion - 3 yearsComputer proficiency: Intermediate PowerPoint Intermediate to Advanced Outlook Intermediate Excel skills Itnermediate Word skills Access a plus, but not required HTML familiarity and Web design skills a plus, but not requiredMobility:Must be willing to relocate for advancement or development opportunities
