Accounts Payable Supervisor

Supervise a staff of 9 and the day to day operations of the Accounts Payable department for the North East region.

Responsible for the accurate, timely submission of invoices in order to maintain month end close. Manage vendors and plan/implement improvements to maximize efficiency of the A/P department.

The Supervisor of Accounts Payable also is responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and developing staff, as well as conducting and maintaining performance evaluations.
Qualifications: 4 year degree in Accounting required.

5+ years of accounting experience highly preferred.

Previous accounting management experience required.

Strong technical skills, including MS Excel required. Previous experience with PeopleSoft a plus.

Strong verbal/written communication skills, and the ability to remain professional in a fast paced environment required.

Healthcare experience a plus
