Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities Lead associates by providing support and leadership to ensure work is processed timely and accurately. Hire, train and develop associates so tasks are completed accurately and established processes and controls are followed. Work with team and other leaders in the department to define processing standards and performance measurements. Work with associates to set goals and develop skills, evaluating performance against the goals and processing standards and providing timely feedback. Evaluate processes and controls on an ongoing basis, identifying opportunities for change and improvement where appropriate and leading efforts to successfully implement changes. Work with other departments and divisions to improve processes and relationships between them and the A/P department. Actively participate as an A/P representative on strategic projects and initiatives with the ability to understand the implications of these efforts to the department.Requirements Three or more years of experience in a leadership capacity hiring, training and supporting associates in creating and implementing development plans Ability to set goals and measurements for direct reports as well as hold associates accountable Experience in an automated procurement/AP environment preferred Accounts payable experience preferred Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or accounting is required Communicate effectively with associates and peers Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong analytical skills Ability to work in partnership with other departments throughout the firm on various initiatives Able to adapt to and lead changeSubmit an online resume for prompt consideration for this opportunity.
