Accounting Supervisor - Bilingual (English-Spanish a must!)

Denver based, international money transfer company has an immediate opening for an accounting supervisor.  Responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day accounting and staff and month-end close process, as well as the preparation of financials for management review.   Supervises the recording of agent deposits, correspondent accounting and settlement, accounts payable and accounts receivable accounts. 

 

Responsibilities Include

Accounts payable processing Cash reconciliations Assisting with month-end and year-end close Conducting ad hoc financial analysis Preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports Reconciling the general ledger Resolving any issues with account reconciliation Supervision of accounting staff Maintaining the accounting software

 

 

Minimum requirements include:

·         5+ years of accounting experience  

 

·         Supervisory or management experience

 

·         Financial reporting skills

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

 

 

·         A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

 

 

·         Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism

 

 

·         Money transfer industry experience preferred Bilingual (English-Spanish)
