HighlightsAIG Job ID: SUNMBCW1Position Type: Full Time - RegularLocation: CA-Woodland HillsRelocation: NoRequirements: Knowledge and Skills:•Knowledge of accounting terminology, concepts, practices and procedures•Strong accounting; analytical and math skills•Must be able to understand and interpret legal contracts•Excellent oral and written communication skills•Knowledge of SAP Operating Systems; QuickBooks; Strong spreadsheet experience (preferably Excel and/ or Lotus 123); Access and Word•Exposure to operations in the insurance and / or financial services industry.•Ability to perform positively in a dynamic team environment.Education: BachelorsExperience: 3-5 yearsDescription: Responsibilities:•The duties will include maintaining the real estate portfolio accounts, bank deposits and reconciliation, wire transfers, and producing the monthly RE portfolio financial reports and DILPs loan schedules package. •Understanding and interpreting legal contracts that bind the partnerships. •General accounting duties includes monthly and quarterly closing, reconciliation of general ledger accounts between two accounting software. •Will be required to assist in the consolidation and reporting of AIG SunAmerica’s business segments to our parent company. This will entail quarterly financial reporting package preparation •Will work with Corporate, Financial Systems and Accounting Staff on the implementation of the standardized AIG chart of accounts across SunAmerica companies.•In addition, this position will include special projects as assigned by management.About AIG: American International Group, Inc.
