Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. This position will be responsible for resolving payment discrepancy reports, providing motivation and ensuring deadlines are met, and providing training as needed.  Researching and replying to customer requests related to billing questions; processing refund checks and reallocating premiums as necessary.  Managing suspense accounts using established departmental procedures, processing policy transactions for withdrawn or declined policies, cancellations, billing mode changes and address changes.  Responsibilities will also include building and maintaining relationships with high profile cases and agents.  Requires intermediate skills of a team player, ability to stand out in a team oriented environment; give feedback and receive coaching and feedback.  Intermediate strategic and analytical thinking, use of established practices while making informed independent decisions.  Intermediate skills in proven oral and written communication.   Experience in an office environment with customer service skills. Insurance and accounting background a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word. An Associates degree is preferred
