Accountant: Tax Credits Asset Management

RED CAPITAL GROUP is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Tax Credits Asset Management Team as an Accountant.  The primary focus of the position will be to provide accurate accounting of low income housing tax credit for multi-family real estate partnerships and LLC entities.  Job functions will include, but are not limited to, collecting monthly financial statements and occupancy reports from tax credit asset management portfolio relationships, reviewing partnership tax returns, preparing internal management reports on property performance, and communicating with property managers regarding deadlines, reporting data and performance issues.  The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree, minimum four years’ accounting and/or finance experience; CPA preferred.Experience in real estate, tax, and/or partnership accounting required.Strong written and oral communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills.Ability to work well under pressure and adjust to varied work loads.Knowledge of Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel.
