John Hancock can be found on the internet at www.johnhancock.com Manulife Financial Corporation trades as 'MFC' on the TSX, NYSE and PSE, and under '0945' on the SEHKReporting to the VP of Account Development & Training, the Account Manager will focus on creating and implementing a local business plan to drive current and future life insurance business within designated accounts for John Hancock.   Responsibilities: Collaborate with the National Account team, the Regional Director and the National Sales Desk to implement a local business plan and drive incremental sales lift for life insurance products Identify market and sales objectives, business potential, issues and challenges within client firms Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies within firms; work effectively towards established goals within those firms in order to grow relationships and maintain/gain a competitive advantage Educate and provide training on John Hancock's life insurance products, placement of those products, underwriting, resources, and sales strategies Market product and services by providing training via seminars and CE courses on advanced concept selling Knowledge & Skills: Deep understanding of the broker/dealer, broker general agency, and producer group marketplace Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven influence, presentation, and sales skills Ability to make a positive first impression and develop relationships quickly Manage complex relationships at senior levels Strong experience relating to life insurance account management Entrepreneurial/leadership presence Focus on providing outstanding service Solid understanding of advanced life insurance concepts Experience: 5-7 years experience in Financial Services Industry 3-5 years external accounts experience BA/BS in Marketing or related field Life Insurance License Series 6, 63 licenses  JOHN HANCOCK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER - AA/F/M/D/V JOB INFORMATION Company: Manulife Financial Location: New York, NY 10001 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Learn more about the company Click here for video Length: 1:15 min Vibrant Culture     •     Wealth of Opportunity     •     Company with a Conscience
