Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. The purpose of the department is to provide support and assistance in processing financial products claims and support other processes associated with financial claims.  The position includes tasks of unusual complexity, according to prescribed procedures.   Responsibilities: Obtain information regarding the death of an owner/annuitant via telephone Data collect information in order to create an on-line record of  notification of death. Handle inquiries from beneficiaries, contract holders, financial advisors, and other interested parties. Provide support to other areas within the department. Special projects as assigned. Handling insured & beneficiary inquiries and requests by telephone  Previous customers service within a call center environment Excellent communication skills Must be a self starter that proactively takes responsibility for own development Must be able to type 45 w.p.m. Must have good organizational skills and be able to complete multiple tasks. Must have experience with Microsoft Office Basic understanding of annuity concepts and products is a plus. Expereience with Transcend system is a plus
