529 Advisor Field Representative

The 529 Advisor Field Representative for Indiana will develop client relationships by: Sourcing and developing leads with local Indiana distributors, including third-party broker -dealers, wire houses, regional brokerage houses, banks, and insurance companies; Identifying Indiana-based distributors for the CollegeChoice Advisor 529  Savings Plan; Conducting sales presentations to the home offices of distributors; and Being responsible for marketing the CollegeChoice 529 Advisor  Plan to third-party broker-dealers, banks, insurance companies; and other financial intermediaries throughout Indiana. The Advisor Field Rep will enhance client relationships by conducting informational seminars at the branch offices of Advisor distributors; Assisting home offices with the development of sales and marketing campaigns to educate their advisor networks about the plan; Assisting Advisors with presentations to clients and prospects; The Field Rep must demonstrate industry expertise by attending distributor regional and natioinal sales meetings to present and promote the 529 plan; must have a full working knowledge of the plan so that advisors receive the necessary education and product support to effectively distribute the plan. In addition, the Field Rep is required to develop communication materials, including sales and seminar presentations. Minimum Reuirements: Bachelors degree and 5-10 years of financial services experience in sales, marketing, or client service related to the Advisor distribution channel; Licenses: Series 7 and 63; Municipal Securities Principal preferred; Deep investment product knowledge required; Must be willing to work out of home office and travel throughout Indiana. Preferred qualifications: Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Must be able to work independently Sales experience a plus.
