We are looking for the following professional to join our team:
Wardrobe Manager
Ideal candidate will be responsible for receipt, issuance, maintenance, and control of all garments for the Hotel Division.
Requirements:
• Minimum of three years wardrobe management experience
• Two years supervisory experience preferred
• High school education or equivalent
• Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures in the wardrobe environment
• Ability to operate office equipment and perform basic/intermediate math skills
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guest, management, and staff
• Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality
Job Description:
• Plan, manage, and monitor uniform budgets and inventory for each department
• Ensure costumes and uniforms are issued in accordance with written procedures and those issued are in good quality condition
• Coordinate with purchasing and outside vendors to ensure quality and quantity
• Knowledge and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions
• Maintain master records reflecting wardrobe specifications, vendor or manufacturer, lead-time to reorder, and life expectancy
• Schedule labor force and assign work for efficient use of equipment and personnel
• Ensure compliance by all front office personnel with Company and departmental rules, policies and procedures
• Plan, manage, and monitor work as well as hiring, communicating, coaching staff, and building relationships
• Requires mobility, prolonged sitting, standing, and walking
• Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity required
• Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors
• Normal vision and hearing range
• May be required to push and pull garment racks weighing between fifty to one-hundred pounds
• May be required to lift and move garment bags and uniform bundles weighing twenty-five pounds; work at a height of three to twelve inches above the floor level and push and/or pull cabinet weighing up to fifteen pounds
