Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Train and retain high quality entry level sales staff who will be effective in maintaining a store environment consistent with the Citywalks Goals and Core Values Supervise sales/stock staff and work with Sr. Management to support store in hiring, evaluation, motivation, training and recognition of store employees, as well auditing of paperwork to confirm adherence to company HR policies and procedures in addition to Labor law complianceMaintain training programs addressing product knowledge, sales skills and environmental issues. Assist Sr. Management in identifying and developing employees for future positions and work with HR appropriate training material Achieve job results through the coaching, counseling and discipline of associates; monitoring, planning and appraising job results (with assistance from Sr. Management)Develop Team by participating in monthly meetings.Provide feedback and suggestions regarding employee training and development.Ensure Communication area is maintained; Verify sales staff participation
Merchandise/Visual:Execute the effective use of merchandise presentation standards to ensure optimal sales potential is reached Provide feedback and suggestions to distributors regarding merchandise assortments and inventory levels Ensure merchandise "clarity of offer" is prevalent and consistent to highlight and maximize sales potential; Maintain stores signage kit and standardsShare input with Sr. Management in developing the merchandise strategy of retail locationConduct Daily walk through of windows and sales floor to ensure company visual standards are met.
Customer Service:Ensure daily schedule maximizes customer service and maintains operational standards Confirm consistent 10/5 compliance.Qualifications/Requirements:Additional Responsibilities to include:
Fiscal:Be familiar with daily, weekly, monthly and year-end sales goalEffectively communicate with and train sales staff in sales goals and progress
Operational:Ensure the stores environment is professional and demonstrates commitment to high quality standards Maintain flawless Housekeeping and Shop-keeping standardsCommunicate with Sr. Management to ensure merchandise replenishment supports the product vision and integrity of unit Ensure financial losses are minimized by maintaining internal, external and paperwork Loss Prevention compliance
Financial Responsibilities:Maintain and track daily, weekly and monthly sales resultsManage COG by ensuring proper discount are given and clearance is marked correctly.Help control expenses by reducing hours when possible and effectively using resources.
Personnel Management:Ensure that self and subordinates comply with all company rules, policies and standards.Maintain a professional "open door" working relationship with all staff members. Actively support the effective use of shared resources (Synergy)Share appropriate information with company peers to build camaraderie Communicate corporate vision and goals to teamExemplify Company's Core Values:Do the Right Thing, Seek Truth, Speed, Have Fun, Results
