Additional responsibilities would include:  Focusing on Java programming throughout the software development life cycle Acting as a lead in projects involving technical, creative and business functions and solutions. Leading the focus, design and developmental of code Acting as an engineering lead over a small team of engineers during projects Working closely with the Systems Engineering Team to document, design and enhance the hardware and networking infrastructure Designing and developing applications, tools to facilitate deployment and maintenance of production systems and performing code and design reviews across the web development team Partnering with the Quality team in support of integration and acceptance testing Enhancing and refining the technical infrastructure and process in order to adapt to and foresee advances in process, methodology, application and developmentYour talent belongs here.  Are you outgoing, creative and looking to work in a collaborative atmosphere? Here are a few things we’re looking for in the ideal candidate: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Experience with scripting languages such as PERL, ANT and Shell Knowledge of ORM tools Experience working with scripting languages such as PHP, ASP, JSP, etc Source code versioning and experience with management tools such as Perforce, Sourcesafe, CVS or ClearCase Knowledge of MVC frameworks Java, Java Servlets, HTTP, HTML - Javascript experience Experience with Windows NT/2k, Microsoft IIS Strong application server set-up experience and configuration such as Tomcat and JBoss Relational database experience such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL Experience working with Hibernate or Spring would be helpful Background in data modeling highly preferredYou’ve taken the time to learn more about this position.
