The Role: As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will report directly to the Sr. Director of Compensation & HR Systems. This significant role will aid in the design of worldwide compensation programs and policies that enable the attraction and retention of key talent globally. This role is ideal for compensation professionals with an interest in analyzing data, handling sensitive information and making sound decisions, and a strong desire to manage details and deliver results. Responsibilities: Develop company procedures and guidelines to ensure compensation programs are internally equitable and externally competitive Educate/coach employees on our company's compensation philosophy, salary structure, market analysis, merit and bonus processes Provide professional consultation and guidance to managers and HR Staff regarding compensation issues Develop reports and metrics that will help senior staff monitor and manage employee compensation Create HR compensation metrics and analyze data to assist business in making informed decisions Manage participation in salary and market surveys to determine market pay rates, salary structure and merit budgets Perform ongoing analysis of positions and assess compensation data Participate on various project teams such as compensation planning systems, budget planning, merger/acquisition integration, and/or performance management programs Lead the annual performance review and merit increase process Assist in preparation of job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements Formulate recommendations regarding FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures Provide analysis and input into the design, implementation, and ongoing management of compensation strategies for executives and the Board of Directors Qualifications: 5-7 yrs experience as a Compensation Analyst along with a solid understanding of compensation practices/trends, knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, and legislation that impacts compensation/pay. International compensation experience preferred. Superior analytical, computational, project management, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred.
