The Role: This position is responsible for executing and managing all Ticketmaster promotional activities and marketing efforts for the NY Tristate market. The Promotions Manager will manage all internal marketing and promotions and must have an understanding of Ticketmaster functions and objectives. Responsibilities: · Maintain and nurture relationships with all clients in the NY Tristate area, through effective communication, customer care and partnership focus, including venues and promoters such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, US Open Tennis, AEG, Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, 8 professional NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB sports teams, and many others, supporting events across all genres including sports, music, arts and family. · Develop and implement promotional plans with clients and partners to increase ticket sales through Ticketmaster’s distribution channels including internet, phone and ticket center locations, effecting local Ticket Sales Goals and overall Company goals. · Develop and implement marketing programs to support adoption and usage of Ticketmaster products, services and programs including Archtics, AccountManager, Exchange, auctions, VIP tickets and special offers, as well as Ticketmaster marketing tools and channels including online, email, retail, direct mail and phone services · Insure TicketExchange implementation and marketing support for professional sports teams and the US Open, working within framework of Sponsorship contracts as applicable · Manage and build relationships with third-party promotional partners, local media and corporate partnerships, and work on numerous special projects and programs that drive NY ticket sales. · Support sales efforts of Ticketmaster products and services by assisting in preparation and performance of presentations, proposal brainstorming and campaign execution process. · Work with senior management and staff across departments to implement and support programs aligned with marketing and sales strategies and business objectives of the company. · Create and manage content for ticketmaster.com, consumer email alerts and notifications, client presentations and our suite of products · Coordinate on-site promotions, client programs and collateral distribution with TM Ticket Centers. · Maintain client account data and track meetings. · Track promotional activity and analyze success of marketing programs · Manage two departmental staff members towards the achievement of all of the above Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related area is preferred At least 3-5 years experience in promotions/marketing preferred Possess strong understanding of New York marketplace, how the overall ticketing industry functions Excellent verbal and written communications.
