PRINT PRODUCTION MANAGER

Feld Entertainment, Inc. producers of Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey® Circus as well as Disney On Ice, Disney Live and Doodlebops  is seeking a Print Production Manager to work at our world headquarters in Vienna, VA.

 

This person will manage the pre-press and printing of high quality marketing materials and program books that meet Feld Entertainment standards that are within budget constraints and are delivered in accordance to production schedule.

 

The essential functions for this position include:Oversee the pre-press & production on all marketing materials, Disney program books (original and reprints; with and without foreign language translations).Work with DOI and RBBB Marketing, Relationship Marketing in planning of new products.Estimates, analyzing costs, awarding jobs to vendors.Coordinate print schedules within the dept. and at pre-press/printer level. Quality assurance.Review and approve invoices.Must be able to travel for domestic and international press inspections.

 

The requirements for this position include:

·  Bachelor degree with specific courses in fine art, graphic design, communication arts, etc. and at least 5- 7 years work experience in Print Production Management, Print Estimating and Evaluating color separations. 

·  In-depth knowledge of the various printing processes and the printing industry as a whole.

·  Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to meet very tight turnaround times on multiple projects.

·  Very strong negotiating skills.

·  Experience managing one or more associates/temps/freelancers.

·  Working relationships with vendors country/world wide.
