Position Description:

The ideal individual for this position will be able to successfully develop, implement, and support training programs on the installation and maintenance of all Aftermarket products and services to assure customer satisfaction, build brand loyalty, and promote future sales. The training audience includes Product Specialists, Brunswick's international sales and technical support staffs, as well as domestic and international Distributors' sales and technical personnel. Certification programs, new product concept development and field testing coordination, product seeding, and launch support are included. 30 ' 70% travel, much of it international, may be required. The major responsibilities of this position are to work closely with R&D to develop, field test and launch product enhancements, quality enhancements, quality improvements and cost reductions for the authority Lane Machine and other Aftermarket products as appropriate. This individual must be able to provide technical documentation support on this training as well.Other responsibilities include measuring and driving improvements of the Authority22 installation experience through audits, training and new installation and maintenance support tools. Working directly with installers to assure the highest level of operator training and service after the sale. Maintaining and enhancing installer 'certification' as appropriate.Collecting field information on product issues, focusing on Parts and the Authority22. Actively supporting the appropriate Brunswick teams to resolve field concerns with appropriate and prompt corrective actions and communications.Working with AM Product Managers to develop, field test, and effectively launch new and enhanced products. Qualifications:

'Minimum of five years (ten preferred) industry experience with extensive knowledge of bowling center machinery including pinsetters, ball lifts and returns, and lane machines. A solid understanding of lane maintenance and general bowling center operations is also required. 'Minimum of five years seminar development and product training experience, including both classroom and hands-on for technical audiences. 'Minimum of three years traveling and working with Distributors and customers in international markets highly desirable. Foreign language capabilities a definite plus.'Solid understanding of Distributors' operations and business priorities required. Experience working with all levels of Distributor personnel including upper management desirable.'Extensive knowledge of Brunswick products and operations required.'Strong network of bowling center mechanics and distributor technicians very desirable.'Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.'Excellent presentation skills required.'Strong organizational and project management skills required.'Must be a motivated self starter with a strong bias towards teamwork and a perpetually positive, can-do attitude.Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, marketing or business, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and industry experience.
