Manager, Finance

Position Description:

Manager - FinanceMOTION PICTURE FINANCIAL REPORTING is looking for a highly motivated person to join our team. Responsibilities include:? Oversee the preparation of quarterly financial package to News Corp for SEC reporting purposes.? Analytical review of consolidated financials? Oversee monthly analysis of various balance sheet accounts? Review and approve various journal entries (e.g. reclasses, intercompany interest and monthly allocations)? Work closely with multiple operating divisions and markets to obtain information and ensure appropriate accounting treatment? Coordinate SOX 404 and external audit testing and reporting? Assist senior management with ad hoc projects ? Development of process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Key Requirements:? Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 5-7 years public or private industry experience ? Possess strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills? Must be a team player, detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently ? Strong knowledge of excelKey Preferences:? PeopleSoft Financials experience? Entertainment and/or financial reporting experience ? CPA license
