Maintenance Engineering Manager
SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for an Maintenance Engineering Manager at The Forum. The Engineering Manager oversees engineering staff for all aspects of facility maintenance.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Working supervision of staff, preparation of work schedules, oversee maintenance and perform repairs of equipment as needed. Provide support and assistance for repair and maintenance of all mechanical systems including electronics, HVAC systems, plumbing systems and electrical systems. Mandatory overseeing of all electrical tie-ins and permits. Contract, negotiate and supervise operations of outside vendors / contractors. Ensure adherence to safety codes. Budget and inventory preparation and tracking. Analyze needs and plan preventative maintenance and upgrades for systems. All other duties / responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:Associate’s degree in electronic / electric engineering or similar craft preferred Mandatory Universal Refrigeration Certification 5 – 7 years of hands on experience in crafts necessary 2 – 3 years supervisory experience preferred Good verbal communication skills needed Familiarity with blueprints a plus Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays if needed Excellent computer skills Friendly attitude
