PPC operations also include Paramount Digital Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, Paramount Pictures International, Paramount Licensing Inc., Paramount Studios and Worldwide Television Distribution.Description:The responsibilities for this Intern are to include, but not limited to: * Assists in the preparation of the Long Range Plan, Budget, and Estimates (Revenue and Cash) for Worldwide Television Planning including Paramount and Dreamworks products * Assists in the preparation of the Ultimates / Generics and liaisons with management regarding revenue and ultimates issues:- Validates Features Financial report vs. current ultimates and identifies discrepancies for revision or further investigation.- Revises WWTV ultimates with updated film performance and PPI splits- Assists in preparation of acquisiton ultimates * Investigates variances to budget or forecast and provides variance explanations as needed. * Liaisons with management regarding any ad hoc requests / analysis, and assists with ad hoc projects as assigned.Qualifications:Basic qualifications:* Must be able to interact in a professional environment with a culturally diverse staff in a dynamic, fast-paced and team-oriented environment. * Ability to manage multiple projects and possesses strong organizational skills. * Must have the ability work well under time constraints. * Be proficient in Excel (including PivotTables, and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP and nested IFs) and Word.Desired skills:* The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual, detail oriented, able to work independently, and have excellent follow through with projects. * Business, Finance or Accounting major preferred.Eligibility requirements:* Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship. * Must be able to work 15-25 hours per week during school; and demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel .* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5449Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
