Frisco Bookkeeper

Main Event Entertainment is a rapidly growing company that operates eight 65,000 square feet family entertainment centers throughout Texas with new locations coming soon. Our centers feature restaurants, bars, bowling, billiards, video and arcade games, shuffleboard, laser tag, meeting facilities and most of all, FUN!

 

Main Event Entertainment is seeking an individual who is detail oriented and has strong organizational skills for the BOOKKEEPER position at the Main Event under construction in Frisco. The Bookkeeper is responsible for auditing, balancing and recording all facility sales transactions.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·  A minimum of one year experience in cash handling and/or bookkeeping experience

·  10-key proficiency is required, and the ability to operate a computer with specific knowledge of Excel is preferred.

·  Some knowledge of bowling, food and bar operations, laser tag, and games is helpful

·  Ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions

·  Capability to handle and maintain confidentiality and security.

·  Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing business requirements.

·  Possess good customer relations abilities, outgoing and friendly manner, courteous and cooperative attitude, team oriented.

·  Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing Have work flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays)

 

JOB RESPONBSIBILITIES:

·  Count and balance all cash in the facility, set up daily banks.

·  Process, balance and record all sales, credit card, and ATM transactions; checking for irregularities.

·  Process and maintain facility petty cash, invoices, inventories and office supplies.

·  Complete all paperwork, reports and/or reporting requirements.

·  Possess and maintain a current knowledge of the MAIN EVENT facilities and activities, including the services and products for customer purchase.

·  Attend all scheduled meetings.

·  Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed by Company management.
