Director of Non-Gaming Operations

Summary

·         The Director of Facility Operations has authority and responsibility for the Environmental Services, Transportation/Parking operations, Food and Beverage, Hotel, and Purchasing departments.

 

The Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities are:

·         Manage all facility operations.  Implement policies and procedures that are consistent with state gaming rules and regulations as well as Argosy Internal controls.

·         Participate in developing strategic and tactical plans to support property and corporate objectives.

·         Plan, develop, document, and implement new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.

·         Oversee the specific methods, techniques, procedures and processes of all reporting departments.

·         Determine and implement financial goals for each of the departments.

·         Work with managers of facility operations departments to ensure that the quality of all services is being maintained.

·         Maintain consistent communication with staff informing them of all daily activities and conduct regular and frequent forecast meetings.

·         Ensure responsible financial management of all purchases and expenditures. 

·         Employees may be required to perform duties outside their regular job description when, in the Company's judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.



Education and/or Experience:

·         Master's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent; and minimum of ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
