Director, Reporting & Operations

 

 

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, a division of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, is a premier worldwide publisher, developer, licensor and distributor of entertainment content for the interactive space across all current and future platforms, including console, handheld and PC-based gaming for both internal and third party game titles.

 

We are currently looking for a Director, Sales Planning & Analysis to join our WBIE team in Burbank.  This is a contractually required position and will be responsible for all third party reporting and act as point person for any issues, questions or proposals which require action within WBIE or Warner Home Video in the financial reporting, operations, credit and collection or sales and marketing administration areas. The position will be dedicated to the worldwide Eidos relationship with some responsibilities for other third party clients.

 

Responsibilities:

 

§ Manage the complete P&L for all Eidos releases and catalog including creating a comprehensive template identifying all potential costs, confirming those costs with the impacted stakeholders, communicating the P&L in both proposed and actual stages with Eidos and tracking all actual costs. Will be responsible for ensuring all initial budgets and subsequent changes have required approvals

 

§ Ensure all required and any additional requested sales or financial reporting is communicated to Eidos on a timely basis.

 

§ Ensure any customer credit issues that would be impacted by contractual requirements are communicated to Eidos in a timely manner. 

 

§ Work with participations to resolve questions on monthly statements and accruals

 

§ Participate in marketing and sales meetings involving affected releases to capture all issues and decisions for communication to Eidos or other third parties

 

§ Work as liaison with WBIE and WHV on any policy or other issues requiring changes or approval by Eidos

 

Requirements:

 

§ 3-6 years experience in developing, analyzing and reporting income statements

§ 3-6 years experience in sales, marketing and distribution companies and functions

§ Some customer service and or related experience in dealing with third parties

§ Some experience in dispute resolution

§ 4+ years experience with excel

§ Games industry experience not required, but would be a plus

§ Require a minimum of undergraduate degree preferably in finance, business or related field

§ Demonstrated knowledge of financial statements, spreadsheets and data bases

§ Experience with applications including excel, Access, Business Objects, SAP CRM and Siebel

§ Minimal travel could be required

§ Flexibility to work across worldwide contacts and time zones
