Director - Order Management Mass, Club & Electronics

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director – Order Management Mass, Club & Electronics for the Sales Planning & Analysis department in Burbank, CA. This is an amazing opprtunity for an ambitious person to work with a dynamic management team of a trailblazing studio.

Position Responsiblities:Position will oversee daily direct replenishment and order management. Make Allocation decisions across customer base. Ensure data integrity of systems. Identify and develop/implement system improvements. Ensure KPI’s are met. Onboard new accounts. Plan and implement strategic projects. Hiring, Training, PPR’s. Work load balancing (daily and strategic). Career pathing and employee development. Attend/Lead daily, weekly meetings as required. Ensure operational issues are effectively communicated. Provide written or oral direction to team. Provide Analysis or Reporting to accounts on inventory or service levels. Provide strategic direction to the business or customers.

Position Requirements:BA/BS degree required. MBA and/or undergraduate degree in business preferred. Engineering, Supply Chain background and/or customer service training preferred. 7+ years of experience in inventory management/customer service or supply chain, to large retailers. Demonstrated ability to analyze sales trends, make recommendations, and develop fact based presentations. Clearly articulated understanding of supply chain principles and functions; including VMI, Operations, Logistics, Merchandising, Marketing, Category Management, Plan-o-gramming, and Sales. Ability to present findings confidently to management and to customers. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written. Must be extremely organized and detail oriented. Must exhibit leadership and people management skills. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and high volume work environment. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. Understanding of systems and ability to communicate data software needs to assist in system development. Knowledge of manufacturing and or distribution systems. Strong knowledge of retail concepts and operations. ERP Systems (SAP) background a plus. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel. Must have the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to think strategically. Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instruction. Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively. Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and meet daily/weekly deadlines. Must be able to take requests from multiple sources & prioritize based upon business needs.
