Your tasks
Develop and implement both a multi-account and multi-industry strategic sales plan
Establish and maintain relationships with key customer contacts for both physical and digital sales opportunities
Search out opportunities at all classes of trade (Grocery, Drug, Big-Box, Home Repair, Dollar Stores etc)
Attend appropriate trade-shows and conventions to meet with key decision makers
Travel to present presentations to key retailers/wholesalers
Gather competitive data on price point, series and compilations
Report on all field Sales activity to all departments within the organization, where/when applicable
Conduct regular retail store visits to monitor program compliance, view market conditions and review competitive environment
Forecast all upcoming releases on both an account and industry specific level
Provide input to Production and A&R staff regarding packaging, repertoire, price point and solicitation materials to maximize sales for each class of trade
Develop proper display vehicles for each class of trade
Provide agenda items and be available to attend sales meetings in-order to provide both updates and input on sales activity. Hold ongoing follow-up discussions based on action items discussed and assigned
Based on sales and upcoming publicity/advertising/events, monitor stock levels in anticipation of accounts demand and make requests to production
Monitor anticipated purchases at specific accounts throughout the entire sales cycle and be prepared to discuss both shortfalls or overages, to insure quota achievement
Monitor accounts product sell-off to consumers and encourage reorder patterns, where appropriate
Maintain advertising budgets
Strategize priority accounts by release and hold pre-solicitation discussions with account buyers to create solid sales plans
Assist in developing concise marketing materials designed to focus on elements most important to each class of trade
Monitor return activity for titles and develop strategies to minimize returns


Our requirements
Minimum of Two (2) years key account experience in the entertainment, retail or consumer packaged goods industry
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Ability to formulate and analyze data
Ability to establish a solid business plan and maximize opportunities
Interpersonal selling skills a must
Team Player
Travel required
