The Stadiums and Arenas division is a $1Billion business within ARAMARK Sports & Entertainment serves more than 148 premier sports stadiums, arenas and concert venues, including the home venues of 13 Major League Baseball teams and 10 National Football League teams. ARAMARK offers stadium and arena owners a single source provider for concessions, event planning, premium dining needs and catering, on-site restaurants, retail merchandise sales and facilities management. ARAMARK Sports & Entertainment has hosted some of the biggest events in sports including the World Series, the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals, the NCAA Final Four, the NBA All-Star Game and the Stanley Cup Finals, focusing on creating the ultimate fan experience. Quicken Loans Arena is home to the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers, AHL Lake Erie Monsters and Indoor Arena Cleveland Gladiators. With a variety of family and concert attractions the Q is a high energy exciting location to grow your career We are currently seeking an Assistant Concession Manager at the Quicken Loans Arena. As an Assistant Concession Manager, you will supervise the concessions operation to include such duties as booking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing, arranging for temporary help and equipment rental. You will also supervise the preparation and service of food and refreshments, as well as clean-up. The Assistant Concession Manager directly supervises concession employees with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years industry & management experience as well as the ability to manage in a fast-paced and diverse environment with focus on client and customer services. Previous management experience in within a convention or sports venue is essential for success in this role. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable. Must be flexible to work some night, weekends and holidays depending on sporting and special events.
