65,000.00 - 85,000.00 USD /year Position Type: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Water/Waste Water Professional Engineer Job Description: Our client, a national full-service engineering firm, is looking to employ a Professional Engineer for their growing Water/Waste Water division in their Charleston, SC office.Job responsibilities of the Water/Waste Water Engineer: -Design and construction of water and wastewater projects with a primary focus on water and wastewater pipeline and pumping station planning, design and construction. -Water and wastewater treatment plant planning, design and construction. -Directing and supervising CAD technicians in the execution of design work and working with minimum supervision.Ideal candidates would possess the following qualifications: -Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience -Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills -Experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater projects -Pipeline and pumping station planning design and construction experience -Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering -South Carolina PE or ability to obtain within 6 months -Management experienceThis position this position does require travel. Travel amount is up to 25%. Therefore, a valid SC driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
