David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) is an employee-owned professional services consulting firm that specializes in complex Transportation, Land Development, Water Resources and Energy engineering projects.DEA supports the efforts of over 1,100 employee owners and maintains offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, New York, Oregon and Washington.  Since 1976, DEA has brought creative, comprehensive solutions to our clients’ complex needs. 

Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of water resources related project deliverables. Learn and gain experience in water and/or wastewater pump stations, pipelines, potable water reservoirs, sanitary sewer, fish screening/passage, stormwater, river mechanics and hydraulic planning, analysis and design. Assist project engineers with preparation of project drawings and specifications, presentations to clients and preparation of proposals and/or SOQs. Provide construction inspections. Contribute to other office efforts as necessary including municipal, land development and transportation projects. Complex designs to be done under supervision of Senior Engineer.

Qualifications:
- BSCE with an emphasis in Water Resources. A Masters degree is preferred but not required
- Oregon EIT registration
- At least 3 months of internship experience in water resource engineering projects
- Knowledge of modeling software, preferably related to open-channel flow and pressure pipe systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.  Candidates must be able to work as a part of a team and have a desire to learn while being the best.
