Check out our website at www.elettric80.com.  Position summary: The sales process of our automatic storage and retrieval systems takes typically from 6 months to 1 year. During this period there are lots of detailed technical discussions with the customer. After a system has been sold, during the design phase, a detailed functional description must be developed. Interpersonal skills are necessary to handle communication with the customer, our technical department in Italy and our office in Chicago. Typical work activities include: Understanding customer needs and document them in a functional description in our quotation Having an overall understanding of the customers requirements, the Elettric80 system capability and how to integrate both into a well designed system Explaining to our customers how our system will integrate into in their current operation Writing functional descriptions of our automatic storage and retrieval systems describing: Processes needed to accomplish proposed functionality Transactions necessary to execute the processes Low level computer interfaces for these transactions on ERP/WMS and PLC level Discussion with the technical department in Italy about how to achieve and resolve technical issues Keeping updated with the technical department in Italy concerning technical development Giving technical sales support to our sales men and system engineers such as: Analyzing and extracting production and shipping data from customer raw data Analyzing system feasibility and functionality Documenting a system overviews and high level functional description
