Description:SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:- Mechanical assembly of devices, control panels and enclosures.- Wiring of components from wiring elementary diagrams.- Stock pull orders and receive materials- Operate lift truck.- Put up inventory stock. - Connecting and disconnecting Systems hardware for testing.- Preparation of Systems for shipping. Including inspecting and crating.- Perform facility maintenance under direct supervision- Follow ISO 9000 procedures relevant to engineering/manufacturing documentation.- Prepare technical materials wire tags and prints for the release to manufacturing.- Ensure the documentation and Data Books are complete and accurate.- Make repairs at Customers facilityESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Wiring of components from wiring elementary diagrams.- Building of panels from panel layouts.- Perform stock room and facility maintenance functions.- Connecting hardware to test from wiring elementary diagrams. - Coordinate with the design engineer in team building manner.- Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.Qualifications:EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:- High School graduate - Custom wiring training helpful but not required.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:- Experience with similar responsibilities preferred.- Able to wire custom systems from schematics. - Able to use tools to modify mounting panels and cabinets- Drive Systems assemble and wire experience helpfulSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceRockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
