Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Engineering Utilities Inspector (Water/Waste-water) Job Description: Our client, an environmental and geotechnical engineering firm is currently seeking an experienced Materials Inspector for an immediate opening in the Charleston, SC area.The Materials Inspector will be responsible for the following: -Inspecting construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, plans and specifications -The type of projects being constructed include but are not limited to: new and replacement water & wastewater pipelines, pump stations, water & wastewater treatment plant improvements & sewer rehabilitations -Must have a thorough knowledge of construction techniques as they relate to the aforementioned type of projects -Will prepare and complete daily inspection reports, maintain technical documents and quality control records -Will perform other related duties as assigned by the Management Team -Must be able to multi-task, handle pressure and tight deadlinesRequirements for this position include: - A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Materials Inspector - Experience inspecting water/wastewater - Any AutoCAD experience is a plusAll qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by sending a resume to Jason DeKoster at [email address removed] or via fax at 843-746-5790 Attn: Jason.
