Truck Driver, CDL Tractor Trailer

A high school diploma/GED required. Training and/or three years of related experience is required. Experience driving various trucks to include tractor/trailers, stake-bed trucks (1.5 ton) and 1/2 ton trucks is required. Applicants with experience parallel parking flat bed trailers to docks and forklift driving experience is required. A CDL is required. Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate level of security clearance is required for the position. Job Description : Summary of Responsibilities:This position is responsible for transporting materials for the customer throughout HAFB using a semi-truck / trailer, and other trucks where applicable. Drives vehicle both on and off of government installations and in light and heavy traffic conditions. Position will require communication with dispatchers on a daily basis. The current opening is to fill a full-time need on the swing shift. The incumbent may be asked to work a swing, day and/or rotating shift, which may include weekends and holidays. Working Conditions:The individual and supervisor assure that the degree of risk is reduced to the lowest level. Work may involve repetitive motions, and standing and/or sitting for long periods of time. Work is of a physical nature and requires the incumbent be able to lift 50 lbs overhead and/or repetitively. : :
