  Traffic Operations EngineerTrevose, PA Job Requirements: Bachelor's or Graduate degree in an engineering discipline. EIT license, desireable. Requires 2- 5 years minimum experience in "transportation planning" required including a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations and policies, preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills required.  Experience with GIS, CAD, and Traffic Analysis/Modeling software applications. Job Responsibilities:   Perform engineering and /or planning activities associated with multi-modal transportation improvements including preliminary engineering, planning, environmental documentation, and technical analysis & reporting. Provides assistance to Project Engineers/Managers with studies, preliminary engineering, final design, and construction related services including providing assistance in Traffic Operations may include traffic data collection, traffic forecasting and analysis, traffic signal design, signing and striping plans, maintenance and protection of traffic. Projects work may include systems engineering, ITS architecture, software, communications, ITS field devices, TCC, and testing support. and other duties as assigned. Communicating with the client's personnel and the project team to exchange & present factual information.
